Malawi’s anti-graft body nods to CDEDI’s request probing SRWB’s dubious foreign contract

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The country’s anti-graft agency Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nodded to Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI)’s request to to probe on dubious Southern Region Waterboard (SRWB) awarding a contract to a very expensive foreign based company,Algahanim/Plem Construction Company.

On Monday, CDEDI wrote ACB while expressing worried with the authorities at the SRWB are also claiming that the ACB was involved in the whole procurement process.
