Big Brother Hotshots unveils three housemates, but no Malawian yet

 BLANTYRE, Sept 18: Top African reality show Big Brother Hotshots has released three names of the 2014 housemates from Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe, and no Malawian yet, on its website.

Everyday, the housemates will be introduced starting from Thursday on the www.bigbrother.com website. Regular updates will be on social media.

 

{jacomment off}    In this 9th series of the show, Butterphly is from Zimbabwe, Alusa from Kenya and Ellah from Uganda. 14 countries are participating in this contest and the winner after 90 days will walk away with $300,000.

   The show, delayed by weeks after the studios were gutted by fire, will be officially launched on October 5, organisers M-Net and series producers Endemol SA said.

   “In a bold and ground breaking move, M-Net and series producers Endemol SA will be delivering a new world-first by unveiling the names of the participating housemates live on the official Big Brother Africa website,” M-net said..

    “The show will go on, and both fans and housemates are in for some riveting television, coupled with all the drama, intrigue and heart-stopping twists that have long become synonymous with the reality show”.

   The show organisers said the new and undoubtedly glamorous Big Brother house is in the process of being designed and fitted with cutting edge camera equipment and broadcast technology that makes the show unique in its format.

    No Malawian has won the Big brother show, although Hazel warren came close to bringing home $300,000 as she was a runners –up in Brother Brother 3.
