Blame game in DPP camp after election case’ verdict

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Embattled Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is now on blame game accusing each of greed by the party’s officials during the presidential elections.

Speaking on Tuesday in Mangochi during elevation ceremony of Traditional Authorities (T.A) to Seniors chiefs, the party’s director of elections, Ben Phiri said DPP failed to get a landslide victory for presidential elections in May because of greed which prevented the Eastern and Southern regions to form a formidable force during the May 21 Elections.

Phiri who is also Minister of Local Government and Rural Development has said DPP is aware that some of its supporters are disappointed with the nullification of the Presidential elections results by the Constitutional Court.

He has however vowed to work tirelessly during campaign period in preparation for the upcoming elections to bring back the Victory to DPP.
