No more: Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari

Updated:   General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Adeboye, has prayed over the health of President Muhammadu Buhari.

This came amidst fresh rumors that Buhari has passed on.

On Sunday, a tweet by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, attracted attacks by social media users.

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, who left on Sunday for medical treatment in London is dead, usanews-tv reports.

According to usanews-tv, the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom told reporters that they are doing everythinh possible to transport the body of late president Buhari back to Nigeria for burial.

The Nigerian Vice-President, Yemi Osinbanjo, will be sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Before going to London for his medical treatment, president Buhari transmitted letters of the trip to the Senate and House of representatives as required by section 145(1)of the 1999 Constitution.

The Nigerian government is yet to make an official announcement of Buhari’s death. Buhari was 74 years old.
