According to news reports was once again The British High Commissioner to Malawi Michael Nevin was warning Malawi political parties about winning the upcoming elections by rigging.
As usual our British friends cannot help but interject into Malawi’s affairs. These veiled threats were issued last Saturday during this year’s World Freedom Gala organized by Media Institute of Southern Africa in the capital Lilongwe.
The British High Commissioner Nevin admitted that he was issuing these veiled threats without evidence that there was any rigging taking place.
He claimed the Brits were not supporting any political party. “All what we want is credible and transparent electoral process in the country.”
Nevin then continued to issues same threats to journalists in the country against being used by some politicians in peddling unfounded rumors on rigging.
