Crystal Palace edge Liverpool in Community Shield as African Leagues deliver thrilling action

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Wembley was the stage for high drama as Crystal Palace stunned Liverpool to lift the English Community Shield in a nerve shredding penalty shootout.

Ntaja United and Namitete Zitha drew 1-1 after late goals from both sides, Jenda United defeated Chintheche United 2-1, Red Lions beat Mitundu Baptist 2-0 courtesy of a Royal Bakili brace, and FOMO FC cruised past Baka City 3-0.
