Four criminals escaped from Maula station in MalawiMalawi Police has launched a man hunt for four criminals who have escaped at Maula prison in Lilongwe on Tuesday Maravipost can reveal.

The inner sources have confirmed to Maravi Post that the four escaped suspects are part of the notorious
criminals that were on remand after they were arrested on the bank robbery and murder charges.
The four are, Edward Majawa of Kabudula village in T/A Kabudula in Lilongwe who was answering murder charges, Chonde Saudi of group village Ngwengwe in T/A Kalonga in Salima, Nix Daudi and James Daudi both of Bonongwe village T/A Chimwala in Mangochi all bank robbers and
According to the inside information, the four were helped by some outsiders who dug a hole to the cell after breaking the fence.
“It was around 4 am this morning when we discovered this incident. We suspect that the suspects were helped by their colleagues who broke the fence with unknown tools,” said our source.
Meanwhile, the police are asking anyone who has seen the said suspects to report the matter to the nearby police station.
