LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)– after she inspired many souls with gospel songs, Chigo Grace has now released a single titled ‘What manner of Love’.
With three albums to her credit now namely ‘You are Righteous, Beautiful and Breath In Me Edition 1, Chigo Grace has won and inspired many people with her music.
“I am happy with the progress I have made in music and I am thankful to God for the talent,” she said.
The Contemporary Christian music and fuses in with soft rock, Chigo says the song talks about the vastness of God’s love towards mankind.
“it is about the love never gives up, how it is so unconditional and measureless, the love that stops at nothing until it gets to the heart of man, a love that went as far as succumbing to death to create a relationship between man and God,” explained Chigo.
Chigo who also plays guitar and piano said she is delighted to deliver excellent music to her audience.
“I am always delighted such songs to my audience because it first starts with me and God, this gives me the confidence that the songs will touch others the way they touch me.
“I am very excited to give people this project. The audio production is by Nigel Nyangombe from Zimbabwe and music video has been produced by the award winning video director, Vj Ken,” Grace said.
However, both the audio and music video were released on Friday last week.
Grace Chigo further said this was a single in the second edition of her Breathe In Me album to be released later this year.
“The first edition of Breathe In Me album was released in June last year.
With the powerful voice, Chigo sings in verse one the song that ‘with arms stretched wide. He takes me in, I have a place in the heart of my King. His thoughts over me are as vast as the sand, Oh I am there in the mind of God. What manner of love is this, that finds me Just as I am. What manner of love is this, that never gives up on me’
In the song, Grace has used the same mode just like some the songs in her previous albums and you would take time to perceive that she is from Malawi as her music sounds more Western not African.
“This is a genre that brings the best out of me, it is my strength and I believe whatever capabilities I have, they are endowed with me by God to fulfill a designated purpose,” Chigo said.
Vj Ken who produced the video recommended Grace’s outcome.
“It is a nice song and when she brought it to me for a video; I had to give it all, hence, the great outcome.
“One thing about Chigo, she is creative and open to ideas from others and I enjoyed working with her, so far the feedback is overwhelming,” Vj Ken said.
Grace Chigo sits under the ministry of Apostle Joseph Ziba, Fountain of Victory Church International and she is mentored by him.
