Malawi’s Maranatha academy goes online learning amid COVID-19

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-To mitigate the effects of school closure in the country due to Covid 19 crisis Maranatha academy has opened up it’s online learning to all students in Malawi.

Maranatha schools managing director Ernest Kaonga disclosed this during a press briefing held on Monday, April 6, 2020 in Blantyre.

Kaonga stated that the initiative will minimize the damage that may come as a result of learners just staying at home for the whole period.

He further said that the technology has already been sampled and upon enrollment students will be accessing all their virtual classes through computers and mobile phones.

In order to accommodate many students tuition fee has been slashed from MK30,000.00 to MK15,000.00
