MZUZU-(MaraviPoat)-Malawi’ US-based Socialite and Entrepreneur Chawezi Banda AKA Cha Cha on Sunday, December 17, 2023, visited her home village, Tukombo in Nkhata-Bay where among others she prepared a pre-Christmas party with the community that raised her.
The event attracted various traditional dances including Chilimika, Chioda and Atonga Honala Band.
About five chiefs including Traditional Authority (T.A) Zilakoma were also in attendance.
Speaking in an interview, Cha Cha said it is very important to spend the festive season with the communities that matter.
She added that there is a need to share love and make the world a better place for everyone despite class.
Chief Zilakoma lauded Cha Cha for the gesture of remembering home and asked others to emulate Cha Cha’s gesture.
“It is not common for those doing well to remember where they are coming from but Cha Cha is a good example and we are very proud to have her”, he said.
