Lilongwe-(Maravi Post)-Malawian Hip-Hop and RnB artist, Slessor last week caught the eye of a South African rap star known as Stogie T formerly known as Tumi when he shared his free styling video on social media.
Stogie T has been running an on online campaign dubbed ‘Freestyle Friday’s’ where he has been dropping freestyles to various popular beats from various rappers across Africa of which is moving around social media platforms.
Slessor who has bars for days showed respect to Tumie (Sogie T) for coming across to his free styling video.
A courtesy of his comment on his facebook page which reads: “So one of the South African’s respected hip-hop artists’, Tumi (Stogie T) began what is known as ‘Free style Friday’. A platform for promoting young African talents. Fortunate enough someone from his team had come across on my random freestyles and reached out. I handed in my submission and it made the cut.
“I am honored to be acknowledged by an African hip-hop legend,” Slessor said.
The freestyle video is available on his verified Twitter, instagram, Mikozi platforms.
