Blantyre, Malawi – Press Energy 1 emerged victorious at the Press Corporation’s Invitation Golf Tournament, held at the Blantyre Sports Club on Saturday.
The team, comprising Chimwemwe Mtimajere, Paul Lawrence, and Nchane Nkwazi, dominated the competition, accumulating a total of 88 points.
The tournament, which featured 21 participating teams, saw Puma 1 secure second place, while Macsteel took third.
The event brought together industry leaders, providing a platform for networking, relaxation, and friendly competition.
According to Ronald Mangani, Chief Executive Officer of Press Corporation, the tournament aimed to foster camaraderie among captains of industry while creating an opportunity for them to share ideas and showcase their golfing skills.

In addition to the team standings, individual awards were also presented.
Ulemu Luhanga registered the longest drive in the ladies’ section, while Innocent Tumeo took top honors in the men’s category.
