LAGOS-(MaraviPost)-Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has said faith in the world of God is what guarantees an answer to prayers.
Prophet T.B Joshua said this on Sunday in a sermon at the SCOAN headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to him, before a Christian prays, he should get a promise (word) from the Bible, adding that God does not give what he does not promise.
He also noted that people’s levels of faith are different and like a seed, it grows from one stage to another.
The clergyman said reading the Bible is one of the surest ways to build the Christian faith as he called on the congregants to build a habit of reading the word of God.
“God’s will, (God’s promise) about every matter must be known to us before prayer,” he said. “For example, if God has not promised you something but you force yourself to believe that He will still give you, you are not believing but dreaming because you believe in your own imagination.”
