JOHANNESBURG-(MaraviPost)-South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa is demanding detailed report from his officials on how Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) leader Prophet Sheppard Bushiri and wife Marry on how the couple left the country.

President Ramaphosa has therefore warned that his government will take unspecified action action on the saga towards officers.

He was speaking after official opening of South Africa Investment conference on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Ramaphosa reaction comes barely a week after Bushiri and wife Mary escaped into Malawi for safety while violating court bail on R102 million money laundering and fraud case.

The couple is Malawi Police custody after they handed themselves to the law enforcers following South Africa authorities on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 issued warrant of arrest while their bail was revoked.

Bushiri has therefore assembled three top Malawi’s lawyers to fight against extradition to South Africa for trial.
