Aleph Hospitality Celebrates 50th Hotel and Sets Bold Growth Trajectory for 2029

A decade of owner-focused partnerships drives record growth for the Dubai-based hotel management company

DUBAI, 15 October 2025 -/African Media Agency(AMA)/- Aleph Hospitality celebrated its 10th anniversary this September, marking a decade-long expansion from a single hotel in 2015 to 50 operating hotels across 39 cities and 23 countries in the Middle East and Africa in 2025.

The Dubai-based hotel management company disrupted the traditional hotel management model a decade before global competitors entered the region and grew to become the largest independent hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa.

Aleph Hospitality’s 10-year rise can be accredited to several factors: market foresight, a scalable tailored-to-fit hotel management model, agile operations, regional expertise and focus on driving benefits to owners to maximise their returns. The company’s close and collaborative relationship with hotel owners is a key component of its exponential growth, leading to over 60% of existing hotel owners entrusting multiple properties to Aleph Hospitality’s management.

In 2025 Aleph Hospitality secured the largest ever hotel management portfolio deal in the region with African Hotel Development Group for the management of 26 ONOMO-branded hotels across 15 African countries. The same year, the company won Leading Hotel Management Company in the Leaders in Hospitality Awards 2025 by Hotel & Catering Middle East.

Previous milestones include the opening of a regional office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the opening of the landmark complex Jewel of the Creek which comprises 20,000sqm of retail space, an 86-berths marina and two branded properties with a total of 770 keys: Hilton Dubai Creek Hotel & Residences and Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek. In a first for the region, Aleph Hospitality manages this complex with two different brands with clustered support functions.

To reinforce its regional expertise and responsiveness to hotel owners, Aleph Hospitality will be opening four new regional offices in 2026: Casablanca in Morocco, Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire, Cape Town in South Africa and Nairobi in Kenya. The company has also announced a Luxury Division to provide dedicated attention to its growing portfolio of luxury hotels. Having reached its long-standing goal of operating 50 hotels by 2025, Aleph Hospitality has set itself a new ambitious goal: operating 100 hotels by the end of 2029.

Bani Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of Aleph Hospitality said: “Pioneering a new business model requires patience, and the determination to remain steadfast in a vision that anticipated industry change a decade ahead. It is deeply rewarding to see that foresight validated today and that our business model has proven to be both resilient and successful.”

Neil George, Executive Director of Aleph Hospitality added: “It took considerable market education to introduce a model that, although well proven in the rest of the world, was new to our region. The results of those efforts are now evident. Our focus for the future is clear: to continue to deliver locally smart, world-class owner-centric hotel management services across the region.”

The timing coincides with the Uganda Tourism Board’s launch of their new marketing strategy “Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa”. As Uganda is opening up again to international visitors, the country is focusing on rebuilding the tourism sector after the impact of the pandemic. Speaking at the launch, the country’s president, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni urged the world to explore Uganda and the uniqueness of her terrain. Uganda is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites and her diverse landscape include the immense Lake Victoria, birthplace of the river Nile, the Murchison Falls, the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, and the remote Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, sanctuary to the world’s last mountain gorillas.

Located in a leafy residential area in the capital, Kampala, in proximity to the Rubaga Cathedral and the Uganda museum, A’lure Hotel & Suites opened its doors in November 2020. ?DUBAI, UAE, March 15, 2021 -/African Media Agency(AMA)/- Dynamic independent hotel management company Aleph Hospitality has today signed the management contracts for three hotels in Kenya.

The hotels, Boma Nairobi, Boma Inn Nairobi and Boma Inn Eldoret, are owned by Red Court Hotel, a subsidiary of Kenya Red Cross Society.

Managed under Red Court Hotel’s home grown Boma brand until now, Dubai-based Aleph Hospitality has been appointed to manage the properties and turn them into profitable assets once again.

As part of the agreement, Aleph Hospitality has pledged financial support to the Kenya Red Cross, by donating a percentage of fees it earns from the hotels to local charitable initiatives.

Bani Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of Aleph Hospitality, commented: “We are delighted to take over the management of the three Boma hotels in a deal that further strengthens our presence in Kenya. We are committed to working with the owners to turn around the fortunes of these wonderful hotels and proud to support local humanitarian projects being run by the owner through the Kenya Red Cross”.

Dr. Abbas Gullet, Founder and Chairman of Red Court Hotel and former Secretary General of Kenya Red Cross, added: “We are thrilled to be working with a professional hotel management company that understands both the global hotel business and our local hospitality market. All profits from Boma Nairobi, Boma Inn Nairobi and Boma Inn Eldoret fund the Kenya Red Cross Society and we are confident that together we can re-establish successful hotel businesses that will help support this great cause”.

Located in the heart of the capital, near to both Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airport, Boma Nairobi features 148 rooms and suites, a conference hall, boardroom, two F&B outlets, a gym, spa and swimming pool.

The Boma Inn Nairobi is a three-star hotel situated at the Kenya Red Cross complex. Also in close proximity to both of the city’s airports, the hotel has 58 rooms, an all-day-dining restaurant and a lounge.

Meanwhile, the Boma Inn Eldoret marks Aleph Hospitality’s first property in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. The hotel is located 15 kilometres from Eldoret International Airport and offers 68 rooms and suites, three F&B outlets, meetings facilities, a gym, spa and swimming pool.

Haddad added: “We understand the Kenyan hospitality market exceptionally well and have seen an increase in demand for our management services during the Coronavirus pandemic, as owners in Kenya seek international expertise to help them manage costs, boost revenue and drive profits from their hotels. As a third party management company, we are able to do this while also enabling owners to have more visibility into their operations and better flexibility with contractual terms”.

Also in Kenya, Aleph Hospitality operates the Best Western Plus Westlands in Nairobi and has been awarded the management contract for a Protea by Marriott hotel in Kisumu, as well as a business hotel to be located in Mombasa.

Aleph Hospitality, which has earmarked a pipeline of 50 hotels in the Middle East and Africa by 2025, manages hotels directly for owners, either on a franchise basis for branded properties or as a white label operator for independently-branded hotels.
