UTM runningmate Dr. Mtumbuka pledges solutions to Malawi’s economic, social wills

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Dr. Matthews Mtumbuka, the presidential running mate for the UTM party, has squarely blamed Malawi’s current challenges on the lack of viable solutions from those currently in power.

According to Dr. Mtumbuka, UTM is the only party with the answers to the nation’s economic and social problems.

He has made bold pledges that, if elected, UTM will stabilize the economy, ensure food security, and guarantee equal opportunities for all Malawians.

Addressing supporters, Dr. Mtumbuka emphasized, “You’ve tried other parties and they’ve failed. Vote for us and see the difference.”

This assertive message underscores UTM’s confidence in its ability to deliver meaningful change and address the pressing issues facing Malawi.

IT expert Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka join front line politics for UTM presidential bid

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The country’s IT expert Dr. Matthews Chinombo Mtumbuka on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 announced his frontline politics and his interest to contest for UTM Presidential post during the incoming elective Indaba.

UTM elective convention slated for November this year in a venue and specific date to be announced.

Dr. Mtumbuka told the news conference in the capital Lilongwe that his candidature aims at building youths aspiration while sustaining UTM founder Saulos Klaus Chilima’s legacy

He added that being someone who has worked in the corporate sector in different countries and delivered positive results.

He promised that his leadership will ensure that the citizens collectively build a nation that works for all citizens.

Dr Mtumbuka says, “Time has come for Malawi to start implementing the ideas it makes which will help it develop and help its citizens thrive”.

He also described the late former vice president Saulos Chilima as the best president the country never had.

Mtumbuka observed that the country needs to utilize ideas by walking the talk.

He added that the country has become rhetoric without results.

Mtumbuka said his manifesto aims at securing food and the enhancement of technology to generate enough forex.

He added that said his campaign is themed at “Plan, deriver, and Results”.

Mtumbuka is now the third candidate vying for the presidential position alongside Dalitso Kabambe and Newton Kambala.
