BLANTYRE-(Maravi Post)-The Triephornia Thomson Mpinganjira Foundation yesterday donated K3 million to a clothing vendor Memory Monalisa Mandala in Area 18, Lilongwe.

Mandala received the donation after Mpinganjira saw a video of her hard work on her TikTok account.

This prompted Mpinganjira to support her business.

Upon receiving the money, Mandala said she did not expect such assistance, especially from Mr. Mpinganjira.

“I started this business after completing my studies in accounting at DMI because job opportunities are scarce. However, it has not been easy, and I have been struggling,” she said.

The foundation’s representative, Wezi Chiweta, stated that the foundation’s goal is to uplift the lives of Malawians. It aims to support individuals in business, crafts, and education.

He added that the foundation targets young people and women, providing financial assistance or equipment to improve their lives.
