LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-After releasing Vinyo watha, Mlaka has yet again released another song which seems a continuation of an attack on the current administration
The three versed song is saying in the first verse that the he sang a song praising God that now the journey to Canaan looked set and bright and if we cross the red sea, the problems will be over.
The journey started well, but panjira zavuta (challenges on the way), forgetting the promises.
In the second verse, he laments why a lot of people forget after crossing the red sea.
In the third verse, he described the rising of cost of living and different problems as “Njoka Zolusa”
But in his chorus, he urges that there is salvation by looking at Njoka ya Mkuwa.
He asks God to show him who is messiah is that will save the people from the troubles.
The song comes amid daunting task for President Lazarus Chakwera’s Tonse government to fulfill promises made to Malawians prior to June 20, 2020 Presidential Elections.
Two years in power, Malawians are grappling with high cost of living.
