It is interesting to hear that Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema has returned home from Qatar where he attended the six-day conference for the United Nations Least Developed Nations.
However, Malawian President Reverend. Lazarus Chakwera still continues to extend his days to have fun and is expected to return home on March 14, 2023.
Hakainde Hichilema refused to enjoy a cup of tea after the summit and asked Chakwera to remain and enjoy the cup of tea offered to him. The Malawian President accepted the offer for a cup of tea but I am not sure under whose expense this is but I would like to believe that this is at the expense of tax players money.
Reverend Chakwera must learn to get back home soon after government deliberations are over. Malawians should have been happy to see their President return from a very eventful 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LCDs) whose main objective was to galvanize international support for least developed economies to integrate beneficially into the global economy, through inclusive and sustainable growth and development.
Once again, Mr President, is not ready to listen to the views of the people when they speak to him. Last time, similar sentiments were shared on the same topic and his Zambian counterpart left Chakwera behind.

Isn’t the President ashamed that he is more of a tourist than a leader who is there to gang up for international support?
Reverend Chakwera is more of a spending President with no solutions for Malawi and won’t transform the nation in this way.”
