Mali presenter to remain in custody despite acquittal on one count

A prominent Malian TV and radio presenter was acquitted on charges that he falsely claimed a former Premier had been murdered in custody by the ruling junta. Mohamed Youssouf Bathily was placed in custody on March 13. He remains in custody pending the outcome of other charges in the same case.Source: Africanews
