LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Tamandani Nkhwimba has now taken over Mibawa Studios as Acting General Manager following the retirement of John Nthakomwa.
In an interview with Maravi Post on Saturday, January 27, 2024, Nthakomwa said Nkhwimba is one of the first studio’s staff members who has been working as an editor, and camera person.
Nthakomwa believes in young people’s workforce in place to lift the studios in his absence.
Mibawa Limited Group of Board of Directors announced the new faces to proceed with the company effective February 1, 2024.
In his remarks, Nkhwimba said he believes in exploring new ideas, “That the new position will just be part of the exploitation”.
He commended the board for trusting him for the new roles in the company.
Other new appointments including the Director of General Program (Wellington Kuntaja) Director of Technical (Fountain Kamanga) and Mzuzu Branch Director (Lauline Tembenu).
Mibawa Studios is well known for educative and entertaining programs, hosting live football games in the country.
