LILONGWE Maravipost: Following the attack on the Motorcade of Hon Enock Kamzingeni Chihana on February 27th, 2025, Northern Block condemns the attack.
Chairperson for the block Magwera Ngwira told Maravipost on Friday Chihana attack is senseless and barbaric, as the country is free and democratic for every citizen.
According to him, the incident posed a threat to his life and they condemned the intimidation of political parties to gain political mileage.
He therefore appeals to those who have an obligation to protect citizens of this country to ensure that the incident that took place within the township of Mchesi is investigated.
This comes at a time when the country’s cities are currently holding demonstrations petitioning the government about the increase in commodity prices.
