BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-President of the United Democratic Front (UDF),Atupele Muluzi,has been named among the 100 Most Reputable Africans in 2025.
Muluzi expressed his deep honor and humility on his Facebook page, stating that the recognition strengthens his resolve to serve with integrity and purpose.
The award ceremony, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, celebrated individuals from across the continent who are working to uplift Africa through leadership, innovation, and service.
Distinguished guests in attendance included notable figures such as His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, Olu of Warri Kingdom, Nigeria; Her Excellency Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Founder and President of the Umlambo Foundation; Dr. Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun, a business leader and philanthropist; and Busie Matsiko, bestselling author and President of the New York African Chamber of Commerce (NYACC).
Muluzi was recognized for his role as a political leader in Malawi and for the impactful work being done through the Pan African Business Forum, where he serves as Vice President.
He praised the Forum’s Chairman, Dr. Ladislas Prosper Agbesi, for his commitment to Africa’s growth.
“This award is not just a personal milestone; it is a reminder that when we lead with purpose and put people first, we can build a legacy that goes beyond borders,” said Muluzi.
He dedicated the recognition to the people of Malawi and all those across Africa who believe in bold, transformative leadership.
