Manicaland Cookout Competitions 2025
Celebrating the Manyika’s peculiar natural endowments in the form of local grains, vegetables and fruits, the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority teams were at Mutare Teachers College today, for the Province’s Traditional Cookout Competitions. Forty six (46) contestants under Community, Students, professional chefs and people with disabilities were showcasing their culinary artistry, competing for the 1st prize.
#ManicalandProvince’s delicacies such as madhumbe, magogoya, rupiza, nhopi, mujumbuya, hute, hubva, makosvo, matudza were the major highlights reflecting their unique gastronomic identity.
