TNM supports Ngoni cultural rites ceremony

1 Min Read

Mobile network service provider TNM has reiterated her commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage in Malawi by pledging to continue supporting major tribal events.

Head of Southern Region Francis Mwamadi made the pledge when he presented a donation of K1.5 million to Ngoni’s Inkosi Gomani V at Manda a Gomani in Ntcheu.

The money was support towards the recent Umhlangano wa Maseko ceremony which cerebrates the Ngoni culture and tradition.

“As a Malawian company we are very proud of the deep cultural heritage different tribes and ethnic groups keep.

We are therefore committed to support events aimed at celebrating and observing this heritage and the Umhlangano wa Maseko was one such milestones,” said Mwamadi.
