Malawi Ministry of Health has launched the warm the heart initiative to raise funds for Hospitals

MaraviPost: Chief of Health Services in the Ministry of Health Dr Charles Mwasambo on Friday presided over the launch of Warm the Heart Initiative, which is aimed at raising K2Billion which will be shared between two referral Hospitals of Kamuzu Central and Queen Elizabeth Central.

Speaking during the launch Mwansambo commended the initiative saying it will help to alleviate some of the challenges which the two institutions are going through.

Chimwemwe Matonga is the Managing Director of Ovation Advertising and he explains.

“This initiative is aimed at raising K2Billion what we saying is that we are asking Malawians to donate K1,000 towards the initiative this can make a difference,” Said Matoga.

Warm the Heart Initiative have since opened Bank accounts at Standard Bank 0140032016800.

Matonga said those on TNM Mpamba can pay through Nick Name Warm to the number 0885385483 

Matonga said those on Airtel money can pay through number 0992561536 

During the function various concerned people gave out some cash in support of the initiative.
