DELHI-(MaraviPost)-A well-known comedian, Eric Mabedi, has been discharged from hospital after undergoing a successful kidney transplant in India.
Mabedi, popularly known as ‘Jakobo’ left the country for India in November with the help from the Ministry of Health and Population.
The actor underwent a successful kidney transplant on December 8, 2018.
According to information at hand, Mabedi has been discharged from hospital and he will be returning to Malawi any day.
Mabedi is the director and producer for Kwathu Drama Group.
He is also the President of the National Theatre Association of Malawi.
The comedian has been very influential to Malawian entertainment sector and his acting life dates back to early 1990s.
