By Angella Semu

YAOUNDE-(MaraviPost)– Cameroon’s all-time record goalscorer, Samuel Eto’o has announced his plans to join Harvard university after his retirement to improve his knowledge in business.

The four-time Best African Player revealed this in an exclusive interview with Pan-African Magazine “Jeune Afrique” that he will be returning to school this January to study Business Administration at the University of Harvard.

“I will go back to school to learn business management. In January, I will join Harvard University, which has kindly accepted me in a specialized training. I’m going to live in Boston for almost a year, ” he said.

The 38-year-old football icon made the decision following failure in his Telcom business SET Mobile due to mismanagement and luck of business ideas. Eto’o has recently started a betting company called “Beto’o” and he believes his advanced knowledge in business management can prevent the new business from falling apart.
