Nigerian mentally-ill people caught in romantic mood

LAGOS-(MaraviPost)-Wonders shall never seize to end they say is actually true.

Two mad people were caught in the general public, a male and a female having very good time with each other.

Many people who saw this were so surprised including me.

How can a mad man and a mad woman come to this thinking faculty and act just the way they did.

The display of romance and affection really place me under surprises and k even asked myself at a point if this people are actually mad.

Below are the pictures I took from the scene.

What do you think, do you believe they are actually mad?

Mentally challenged people have their sane moment most times. It only doesn’t last for long. For them to have come together it means their sanity clicked.

I’m really shocked about how you are all attacking the poster, if someone is mad,is mad!! It’s plane language, can’t you people see that they are mad people? What’s wrong with black people? Why we, black people, we glorify filthiness this way, that man and the woman are not normal, they are mentally ill, so they are mad on the street of Lagos, period!!!; We have a lot of here in Ghana on our streets, being abondoned by their parents,. I will continue

I GUESS YOU SAW THEM AS FREAKS, THAT’S WHY YOU CONSIDERED IT ‘BIZARRE’ THAT THEY DISPLAYED BASIC HUMAN EMOTIONS. INSTEAD OF EMPATHY OVER THEIR CONDITION YOU ENDED UP MERELY REINFORCING SOCIETAL PREJUDICE TOWARDS THE MENTALLY CHALLENGED. THE UNFORTUNATE THING IS THAT EVEN WHEN CALLED OUT ON THIS, YOU SHOW NO REMORSE OVER YOUR ACTION.

I think you need to educate yourself about what mental illness is & how you can help others. Use your writing & publishing power for good, not to perpetuate unfair stigmas.

Wow what a very ignorant comment to make! What is ‘madness’ if not some psychiatric illness. History has shown a lot of famous people artists scientists with your definition of ‘madness’ like Schizophrenia , autism were high functioning individuals.
By the way this is 2020, individuals are not labeled with slurs like mad anymore. They are socially or mentally challenged or special!

it’s times like this that I am actually discussed with Nigerians.

Not of the loving couple, but of the publisher of this article.

How dare you shame these two for just being in love.

Next time, learn how to mind your own business instead of being so intrusive and thinking what they’re doing is wrong, when in reality, you are the problem

Unfortunately, this is the wicked uninformed people who love to label people.makes them seem superior to people with less capabilities ,which is so sad some things are better left unsaid as my mom use to say ,it is better to be thought of as a fool!!!!! Rather then open your mouth and remove all doubt!!!!!

It is money ritual. The more they are seen the more money. Whether on social media or face to face contact.

why should someone in his right mind call another person “mad”? negatively labeling another person does not make the author a better person. If the people are mentally or physically challenged the you should show your smartness by helping them and not by writing about them to amuse the inconsiderate and not-so-smart readers who are like you. Never again refer to another human being as “mad”. My name is Blessing.
