LILONGWE (MaraviPost)—Armed robbers in Malawi’s commercial city of Blantyre killed a Malawi Police Officer in a successful armed robbery of the bank at First Merchant Bank (FMB) Livingstone branch leaving another policeman heavily injured.
The armed robbers were dressed in FMB attire and robbed the money which FMB wanted to bank with the Reserve Bank of Malawi.
The cop was pronounced dead on arrival at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where the other police officer is battling for his life.
