ATLANTA, (MaraviPost): During the UK-Malawi Investment Summit, His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika had also a successful discussion with Yvonne Ike who is the Managing Director and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa at the Bank of America.
During the meeting, the Bank of America showed strong interest to establish itself in Malawi. Since their indicative interest rates are competitive; Malawi President Peter Mutharika warmly welcomed them to do business in Malawi.
Bank of America coming would help Malawi’s private sector access affordable loans and that could energize our private sector.
Apparently, Malawi President Professor Peter Mutharika used the visit to the UK to tell Malawi’s story in a bold way.
