BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Becky Thindwa a winner of miss christian audition held in Lilongwe edging out 18 other contestants to became miss christian Malawi and effectively the country’s representative.
Chris Kaunda Daka an affiliate of the initiative said it is meant to raise christian queens around the continent and also Christ ambassadors.
The winner of the Africa contest will go home with US$ 2000 and a trip to the holy city of Jerusalem in Israel.
“It meant to encourage models to achieve their dreams in the Pageantry without compromising their beliefs and faith,” said Kaunda.
This is the third edition and Thindwa will take on other beauties from south Africa,Nigeria, Lesotho, Botswana, Cameroon, Benin republic and Equatorial guinea.
Thindwa 25, a bachelors degree holder in business administration started modeling in 2017.
