BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost )-Nyasa Big Bullets continued their dominant form in the 2025 TNM Super League, demolishing Songwe Border United 7-0 at Blantyre’s Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.
The resounding victory sets them up perfectly for the crucial second leg of their Airtel Top 8 tie against Creck Sporting Club at Bingu National Stadium.
In post-match interviews,the People’s team Head coach Peter Mponda was understandably pleased for the impressive performance of his boys.
“This win gives us the confidence and momentum we need to face Creck Sporting with renewed determination,”he said.
On his part,Songwe Border United Head coach, Enock Mhone, offered a frank assessment:
“Our mistakes cost us dearly today. We anticipate a much-improved performance in our next match,” he said.
The goals for Bullets came from Babatunde Adeponju, Wongani Lungu (two goals), Chikumbutso Salima, Hassan Kajoke, and Maxwell Gastin Phodo, with Songwe also contributing an own goal.
With three wins, twelve goals scored, and only one conceded, Bullets are showing impressive form.
In other news, Creck Sporting Club finally secured their first point of the season with a goalless draw against Blue Eagles, creating an exciting prospect for their upcoming Airtel Top 8 clash against the in-form Bullets.
