LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Lazarus Chakwera this morning, October 11, 2024 left the Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) for Blantyre, ahead of the presidential charity golf tournament slated for this weekend.
The Malawi leader, who left at exactly 8:00 am was seen off by top government officials including Minister of Lands, Deus Gumba, and party cadres who included Malawi Congress Party (MCP) publicist Jessie Kabwira.
Chakwera is expected to participate in the Presidential golf charity tournament on Saturday at the Limbe Country club.
The President travel comes amid speculations that he was unwell.
