Headteacher defiles student in Dedza
Suspect arrested

Dedza- ( Maravi Post) – The Headteacher of Mphunzi Community Day Secondary School, is in Police custody for allegedly defiling a form one student.

According to Dedza Police Spokesperson Edward Kabango, the suspect Geoffrey Nthara, committed the crime early last month. The incident took place in the Headteacher’s office after school hours.

In the incident, the Headteacher found the young student studying in one of the classrooms; thereafter, he coaxed the student into going into his office, where he defiled her.

On a similar incident , Police are also keeping in Custody a 62-year old man for defiling a six year old girl.
Dedza Police spokesperson Kabango informed Maravi Post that the suspect on 19 July defiled the young girl in his house; he therweafter, tried to buy the girl’s silence with a 20 kwacha note. However, the young girl informed her mother about what occurred.
The suspect Makisa Wisikoti hails from Jerikol Village, traditional authority kachere in Dedza.
