Kavina committed to Dowa’ sports development

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-King Msaiwale Kabvina says he is committed to developing sports in the country.

Kavina made the assurance on Sunday, July 2, 2023, when he donated football jerseys and balls to Mponela Eagles FC and Bowe Stars FC worth MK1.5 million.

Kabvina who owns Champion Stadium and is currently running a MK13 million Trophy said he made the donation as corporate social responsibility.

He hopes that donated items will play a great role in the development of the sport in Dowa and beyond.

Kabvina added that the donation has come up to pay back to the communities.

“I started my business in Bowe and currently operating my stadium in Mponela so just wanted to appreciate for the relationship I have with people here.

“Police is doing a great job in securing our life and properties hence deserves such kind of gesture”, Said Kabvina.

Lubrino Kaitano who spoke on behalf of the guest of honor the Officer-In-Charge of Mponela Police Station M’bwana hailed Kabvina for the gesture saying the equipment will play a great role in developing sports at the institution.

He there called upon the corporate world, Individuals, and well-wishers to emulate Kabvina’s gesture saying Police Stations face numerous challenges when executing services to the public.

Kaitano added Jersey will boost morale amongst the players as they are playing in the Central Eastern Region Commissioners Trophy.

Mponela Eagles FC are in position 7 on the 8 teams log table with 3 points from 4 games. They have managed 3 draws and lost 1 game.
