Lazarus Chakwera Visits HRDC leaders in Prison to show solidarity

MCP president Lazarus Chakwera this morning visited HRDC leaders at Maula Prison where they are remanded following their arrest.

Timothy Mtambo, Gift Trapence and Reverend MacDonald Sembereka have been holding destructive demonstrations in support of and encouraged by the MCP leader.

As expected, Lazarus Chakwera is one of those who have condemned the arrest of the trio knowing these are his allies and supporters of his ambitions of becoming the next President in Malawi.

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Lazarus Chakwera charged that Mutharika is “a temporary tenant “at the State House, official residence of the Head of State.

Timothy Mtambo, Gift Trapence and Reverend MacDonald Sembereka are expected to appear in court this afternoon for bail ruling.
