Our sources disclosed that MDF also reminded Mutharika to consider himself stepping down from his office in a peaceful manner once Court rules out against him.

MDF says it will detain and push Mutharika out of his office as one way of exercising their powers to uphold sovereignty once he will insist to resign

Mutharika has already chosen Overton Chimulirenji to be his successor once he resigns as the result of court ruling, however the motion is being objected by other senior party members

At the Constitution Court MDF has taken full security control day and night guarding all gadgets being used by Daud Suleman, the 6th witness for Dr Lazalous Chakwera

Meanwhile, Mutharika is holding frequent meetings with his legal and others from Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC), as well as senior party officials trying to find a plan so that he must not face jail after being pleaded guilty in the ongoing presidential case.

Muntharika used MK5 billion to bribe MEC Chairperson, Commissioners and other MEC officials in order to claim victory on the last ended polls.

Mutharika had a feeling that once MEC announces the rigged results which declares him a winner, he will swear in and be inaugurated as the state president of the Republic of Malawi and that no one would dare to stand against him as he will be in power.

There was no immediate reaction from both state house and MDF authority on the matter.

The presidential elections case resumes today at ConCourt in the capital Lilongwe.
