BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Reggae jams courtesy of Evison Matafale memorial show are to return to stage on November 29th to honor the fallen music icon.

Anjiru Fumulani band leader for Black Missionaries has told Maravi Post preparations for the annual music free party are at an advanced stage, saying they are ready to celebrate the life of Matafale.

“The legacy of Evison Matafale still lives on, the mission he started still continues,” Anjiru said

He further said all the preventive measures for Covid-19 will be followed

“Our shows gets alot of fans in that case we will make it possible that all preventive measures are followed,” he said.

Matafale who formed and lead Black Missionaries died on 27th November 2001 while in police custody following his arrest after authoring what was considered seditious material.

No logical conclusions have ever been reached and mystery, betrayal power over reach still surrounds the legendary death.
