Malawi’s Nyasa Big Bullet Charles Petro to attend trials in Moldova

MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-Nyasa Big Bullets defender, Charles Petro is leaving the country today, Tuesday, for Moldova to attend trials at Moldovan top-tier side FC Sheriff Tiraspol.

Petro however declined an offer to go to Polokwane City FC in South Africa saying eyes European exposure as a bigger picture.

The Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves graduate, who turns 20 next month, will be in the East European country from January 15 to February 15.

While confirming the news, Nyasa Big Bullets Chairperson, Albert Chigoga, said Petro is a prolific footballer whom most international clubs have spotted; just like other players at the Club

Petro, who just came from Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves, had a grand 2019 season playing for the first team in his debut TNM Super League appearance, helping The People’s Team defend the title.
