BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-In a heartfelt message, President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika extended his warmest congratulations to the newly elected Speaker, First Deputy Speaker, and Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
Honourables Sameer Suleman, Victor Musowa, and Esther Jolobala were elected to their respective positions, and the President expressed his full confidence in their leadership abilities.
President Mutharika highlighted the trio’s consistent demonstration of leadership qualities and capabilities, which earned them the nomination for these key positions.
He noted that he had nominated them with the assurance that they would steer the deliberations in the House effectively for the betterment of Malawi.
The President assured the new leadership of his full support as they assume their roles as heads of the legislative arm of government.
“To you Honourable Speakers, this is your moment to serve and shine,” he said.
The President’s message conveyed his commitment to collaboration and support for the new leadership as they work together to advance the interests of Malawi and its people.
