President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will on Thursday 18th December, 2014 launch the Decent and Affordable Housing Subsidy Programme (DAHSP) at Kambewe Primary School, Group Village Headman Msampha I, Traditional Authority Chadza in Lilongwe

This has been disclosed in a Press Statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Presidential Press Secretary Fredrick Ndala.
The Decent and Affordable Housing Subsidy Programme is a K7 billion programme that seeks to provide subsidized cement, iron sheets and other related building materials for low income households and improve their own houses.
The programme is a brain child of Mutharika’s government as a social responsibility to enable Malawi own decent houses.
The President is expected to launch the Decent and Affordable Housing Subsidy Programme from 9am.
