DEDZA-(MaraviPost)-As one way of celebrating thirty years of colourful painting, Rainbow Paints limited has ventured into a corporate social responsibility initiative by donating paint to 30 institutions in all the 28 districts of the country.

Rainbow Paints limited technical manager Geoffrey Zuliyani was speaking in Dedza district on the sidelines of a MK3 million donation of paint to Dedza Secondary School and Dedza district hospital.

Zuliyani said the company has among others offered the targeted institutions a 55% decrease in the prices of the company’s services.

He added that the company priotises the culture of sharing adding that each institution will receive paint worth MK1.5 million.

“At Rainbow paints, we believe in the power of sharing. This is a special year, as part of our celebrations marking thirty years of existence in the country, we are giving out paint to thirty institutions across the country. We are spending MK1.5 million for each institution,” he said.

Speaking after receiving the donation, human resources officer for Dedza district hospital Willy Kaliwa described the move as timely.

“Most of our patients here are women and children. We will use the donation in the female and children wards,” said Kaliwa.
