MSC Cruises’ 2025/2026 South African season aboard MSC Opera begins this November, with Cape Town cruise departures starting in March 2026.

Cape Town Sailings
The MSC Opera is set to arrive in Cape Town in late March 2026, marking the start of an exciting series of sailings from the city. The ship will make its way from Durban to Cape Town on a scenic 3-night at-sea crossing, arriving just in time to kick off the Cape Town leg of the 2025/2026 MSC Cruises South Africa season.
Once in Cape Town, MSC Opera sails four round-trip cruises during the season.

A 5-night return cruise from Cape Town to Walvis Bay
Dates: 30 March-4 April 2026, 4 April-9 April 2026, and 9 April-14 April 2026
3-night trip from Cape Town to Durban
Date: 14 April- 17 April 2026
