Amanda Batula Jokes About Checking Men Out at NHL Game After Kyle Cooke Split

Amanda Batula is scoping out the scene.

Batula, 34, joked about going to the “boy aquarium” a.k.a. the New York Rangers vs. New York Islanders game on Thursday, January 29. The Summer House star took to Instagram and snapped a pic of the game. She captioned the post, “Boy aquarium,” referring to a viral TikTok meme where girls go to NHL games to look at the players.

Batula’s playful post comes after she and Kyle Cooke announced their split earlier this month.

“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the former couple wrote in a joint statement on January 19. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

Batula and Cooke, 43, added, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

Since then, the duo has broken their silence on where they stand now.

“We’re good,” Batula told Kiki Monique during an episode of SiriusXM’s Front Row series earlier this month. “And that’s it.”

Batula added, “It’s … easier to get along. But we’re good. We talk all the time. We’re both traveling. So I’m watching the dogs. He’s watching the dogs. We’re co-parenting the dogs together. Still call him if I have questions.”

Cooke, for his part, agreed that they’re on good terms. He shared that it feels like “a weight [was] lifted” in their relationship after splitting.”

“Every step we’ve taken, there’s a little bit of, like, a weight has been lifted,” he shared. “And ironically, I feel like this last week, having kind of pressed post together, it felt like we were a little more lighthearted.”

“I mean, look, more than anything, I want her to be happy. I want us both to be happy,” he continued.

Cooke previously opened up about their breakup earlier this month during an episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “I think people will be surprised but also happy to see that Amanda and I are in a good spot,” he said. “Obviously, the internet’s gonna do its thing, but you know, we literally pushed send [on our statement] together.”

Batula and Cooke met in 2015. In 2017, Cooke was one of the original cast members on season 1 of Bravo’s Summer House. Batula joined the show for season 2. Through the years, they’ve been candid about their rocky relationship both on and off camera. In 2018, Cooke cheated on Batula while intoxicated but they worked through it. Later that year, he got on one knee and popped the question during an episode of Summer House. After the COVID-19 delaying their nuptials, the couple tied the knot in 2021 at Batula’s parents’ house in New Jersey. Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo served as Batula’s bridesmaid, while Carl Radke officiated their wedding. Together, they share two dogs, Reese and Ryder, whom they adopted in 2022.

The Summer House costars announced their separation after four years of marriage earlier this week, and Cohen, 57, offered his commiserations on the Tuesday, January 20, episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

“I am sure that was a difficult decision,” Cohen said. “But we are proud of you two for choosing what is best for you, because to paraphrase a certain someone, marriage should be fun,” he added, referring to Cooke’s famous line on Summer House.

Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, broke the news of their split in an Instagram statement on Monday, January 19.

“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” they added.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly before announcing their split, Cooke and Batula teased how their relationship struggles will play out on Summer House season 10, which premieres on February 3.

“We’re figuring out what we want out of life and out of the relationship,” Batula told Us. “We’re sort of trying to talk through that and figure it all out in real time. It’s going to be a very raw season.”

Among the issues documented on season 10 is Cooke’s career as a DJ.

“There’s no particular issue — what you’re seeing is a 10-year relationship. … A lot of people don’t make it very far, and that’s on or off camera,” Cooke reasoned, telling Us that his career is “an easy thing to point a finger at.”

“I’m not trying to discredit how Amanda feels — her frustrations are totally valid. I think that’s part of what we’re trying to figure out,” he added.

Just weeks before their split, Batula spoke to Us about her future with Cooke.

“Being on the same page with what our future looks like, what we want in life, where we’re going career-wise. … Things just sort of became different for us,” she said. “I mean, honestly, I’m gonna have to watch it back and figure it out with everyone else, because I still don’t know! … I’m going to be learning a lot watching the show back.”

Cooke shared, “Love is challenging and complicated. Relationships are challenging and complicated. Marriage is challenging and complicated,” adding that season 10 is his “most challenging season ever.”

“I’m proud of how open and honest [Amanda and I] are,” Cooke said. “I think there’s gonna be a lot of people that can relate or identify or learn from some of the challenges that we’ve had. Ultimately, we’re just trying to navigate this just like anybody else. It’s just very different, because for a decade, we have had the luxury of all of our friends talking excessively about our relationship and then the entire internet. So, it’s not easy, but I realize this is what we signed up for, but I think that I’m hoping people understand and hopefully have some level of respect for us putting it all out there, and this is by no means a moment to choose sides. We’re trying to navigate this to the day.”

Diddy’s Rep Slams Report That Rapper Was Caught Drinking Alcohol in Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ rep denied a report that the disgraced music mogul was caught drinking homemade alcohol in prison.

TMZ reported on Friday, November 7, that Diddy — who is incarcerated at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey — was caught drinking a concoction of Fanta, sugar and apples left to ferment for two weeks.

However, Diddy’s official X account denied the claims in a since-deleted post on Saturday, November 8. “The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family,” the post read.

A spokesperson for Diddy added to People, “There have been several false and reckless reports circulating about Mr. Combs. He has not violated any prison rules. His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously.”

“This is only his first week at FCI Fort Dix, and unfortunately, rumors will surface throughout his time there. We ask the public and the press to give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth, and the grace to move forward in peace,” the statement continued.

Us Weekly has reached out to Diddy’s representatives for further comment.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Us on October 30 that Diddy, 55, had been transferred to FCI Fort Dix to complete the remainder of his four-year prison sentence on two charges of transportation to engagement in prostitution. FCI Fort Dix is a low-security prison for men and houses around 4,000 prisoners.

Diddy is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028, per the Bureau of Prisons website. He could get out earlier with good behavior or after completing certain programs during his incarceration.

The Bad Boy Records founder was previously incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was remanded following his initial arrest on charges including sex trafficking in September 2024. He remained there through his trial, which began in May and concluded with a guilty verdict on the prostitution-related charges on July 2. (Diddy was cleared of two counts of trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy.) The music star has maintained his innocence and denied all charges against him.

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison during a sentencing hearing on October 3, which is just over four years. The year he has spent behind bars already will count towards his sentence. Judge Arun Subramanian also ordered him to pay a $500,000 fine and complete five years of supervised release when he leaves prison.

During his sentencing, Subramanian encouraged Diddy to “make the most” of his “second chance.” The judge said, “There’s a true path to redemption here. What went wrong and what can be made right.”

In a letter to the judge prior to his sentencing, Diddy expressed remorse for his actions.

He continued, “I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs. This has been the hardest two years of my life, and I have no one to blame for my current reality and situation but myself,” he wrote in a letter obtained by Us on October 2. “In my life, I have made many mistakes, but I am no longer running from them. I am so sorry for the hurt that I caused, but I understand that the mere words ‘I’m sorry’ will never be good enough, as these words alone cannot erase the pain from the past.”

The Power of Reading:

Illuminating Your Path to True Purpose

In a world bustling with distractions and fleeting moments, the art of reading has emerged as a timeless refuge, a sanctuary of knowledge, inspiration, and personal growth. As the author of “Light After the Tunnel: Discovering your True Purpose in Hard Times,” I understand the profound impact that reading can have on one’s life journey. Just as a beacon cuts through the darkness, so does reading illuminate the path to discovering your true purpose, especially during challenging times.

Great Leaders Are Great Readers

It’s often said that great leaders are great readers, and there’s a valid reason behind this adage. Throughout history, leaders who have shaped nations, businesses, and cultures have been voracious readers. They recognized that books are like treasure chests of wisdom, offering insights from the minds of thinkers, philosophers, and visionaries across ages and disciplines.

Consider the likes of Abraham Lincoln, who was known for his love of reading and who credits books as the foundation of his intellectual growth. Or the modern business titan, Warren Buffett, who attributes a large part of his success to the hours he dedicates to reading each day. From political leaders to entrepreneurs, their commitment to reading has been instrumental in their achievements.

Cultivating the Habit of Reading

Just like any habit, cultivating a reading routine takes time and dedication, but the rewards are immeasurable. Here’s how you can embark on this transformative journey:

  1. Set Aside Time: Designate a specific time of day for reading. It could be early morning, during lunch breaks, or before bedtime. Consistency is key.
  2. Start Small: Begin with shorter texts or articles if you’re not accustomed to reading for extended periods. Gradually, you can move on to longer books.
  3. Explore Various Genres: Don’t limit yourself to a single genre. Venture into fiction, non-fiction, self-help, philosophy, and more. Diverse reading broadens your perspectives.
  4. Create a Reading Nook: Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can immerse yourself in your reading material without distractions.
  5. Join Book Clubs: Engaging in book clubs or discussion groups introduces you to new perspectives and keeps you accountable for your reading goals.
  6. Take Notes: Jot down your thoughts, reflections, and favorite quotes as you read. This enhances your engagement with the material.

Unveiling Your True Purpose

“Light After the Tunnel: Discovering your True Purpose in Hard Times” is not just a book; it’s a guiding light for those navigating through life’s challenges. In its pages, you’ll find stories of resilience, insights into finding purpose amidst adversity, and a roadmap to uncovering your true potential.
