Lilongwe, Malawi: President of Shepherd Bushiri Investments (SBI) Dr Shepherd Bushiri has announced a K15 000 000 support to the construction of dykes by the Salima District Council.

He made the announcement in Salima on Friday during the ongoing relief maize distribution exercise to families affected by various disasters. About 3 000 families benefited in Salima.

Shepherd Bushiri Investments pairs with Liverpool Football Club legends to honor Mandela

PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-A subsidiary of Shepherd Bushiri Investments (SBI), Favor Drink, has partnered with legends of Liverpool Football Club to honour South Africa’s liberation hero, Nelson Mandela, in a nationwide campaign themed #Liverpool4Madiba Experience #Freedom4All.

SBI is an investment company owned by Shepherd Bushiri with, apart from beverages, portfolios ranging from mining, telecommunications, hotels, private jets, media and consultancy companies.

In the partnership, the energy drink Favour, currently in various supermarkets in Southern Africa, has sponsored the bringing in South Africa of the three Reds trio Steve McManaman, Robbie Fowler and John Barnes.

The trio arrived in South Africa on 19th March and are taking part in the three-day activities in honour of legendary president Mandela, who would have turned 100 this year.

Asked why Favour Drink though of headlining the sponsorship of the campaign, SBI representative Sean Longwe told journalists at a press conference Tuesday night in Johannesburg that their company is always inspired to unite people and more so the youths through football .

Football is like a second religion where people can seat forget their differences have a drink and enjoy, he said.

He added that in the same vein, SBI always share the same sentiments with the great Liverpool Legends and the Liverpool City Council in celebrating the great Nelson Mandela who is a global icon.

As part of the event, SBI has produced limited edition of Liverpool 4 Madiba cans currently available at Spar stores nationwide as well as select retailers across South Africa from April right through to Madiba’s birthday month in July.

In these months Favor will be engaging consumers through various activation across the country to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s legacy.

The campaign is currently on today with a spectacular gala dinner with fans and a coaching clinic with underprivileged children to be hosted at the Metrostars Football Development Centre in Alberton, Johannesburg.

The campaign will also involve unveiling the building of the Nelson Mandela Memorial in Liverpool City, a project initiated by the UK-based Mandela8 charity.

The memorial artwork will be created on the lake island at the Toxteth Park and launched in June 2018.

RUSTENBURG-(MaraviPost)-All roads leads to Rustenburg, South Africa, on Tuesday where renowned investor Dr Shepherd Bushiri launches his multi-million dollar five star hotel he has been building for the past 8 months.

The hotel is just one of the 8 hotels that Dr Bushiri owns in different countries under SB Hotels which is an entity of Shepherd Bushiri Investments (SBI).

In a statement made available today, Dr Bushiri said the launch of the hotel is a fulfilment of his beliefs of being a man with a vision and goals.

“I have come to learn in life that prayer and hard work can never fail you. I have always been a man with a vision and with goals, and to some, those goals have always seemed impossible because I am a man of faith,” he said.

He added that he believes God for big things and through God, he has always had courage for accomplishment.

“It has been a difficult road and I met a lot of hiccups along the way, but I thank God for He has never, for one day deserted or failed me. I had faith that we would build this hotel to its finish and finally, these are the results,” he said.

Dr Bushiri notes that it is not enough to just be intellectually sufficient, if you truly want to run a successful business then you need to involve God.

“Don’t build with money, build with God. Don’t buy with cash- buy with faith,” he said.
The launch will be a double celebration for Dr Bushiri, the president of SBI, as the day of the launch is also his birthday.

Known as Sparkling Water Hotel and Spa, the hotel boasts of the worlds’ first class facilities such as modern restaurants, spa, conference venues, children playground, vintage homes and different other adventurous activities.

Further, the hotel is also an ideal escape from city life. Located in the picturesque and historical Magaliesberg Mountains, it’s a perfect place to leave the pressure of the rat race behind. It’s located an hour or so drive from Johannesburg.

JOHANNESBURG-(MaraviPost)-Management of Africa’s largest soccer arena, FNB Stadium in South Africa, has named Prophet Shepherd Bushiri as Africa’s most crowd puller after yet another successful Crossover Night which attracted over 100 000 people.

The management, which is to make a statement shortly, confided in The Maravi Post Monday afternoon that Prophet Bushiri deserves the honour not just for attracting the 2017/18 year’s feat; rather, for consistently maintaining the feat for the past three years.

Sources from FNB management disclosed that in the 29 years of FNB Stadium’s operation, no person has ever done what Prophet Bushiri keeps achieving by consistently filling the stadium with ever increasing figures.
