LONDON-(MaraviPost)-Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of rape and sexual assault at a hearing held at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday morning.
Partey, 31, is facing five counts of rape involving two women and one charge of sexual assault involving a third woman, alleged to have occurred between 2021 and 2022.
During the plea hearing, the Ghana international confirmed his identity and denied all charges.
His trial has been scheduled to commence on November 2, 2026, at Southwark Crown Court.
Partey had previously been charged by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) on July 4, 2025, and was granted conditional bail during an appearance on August 5, 2025.
Following his not guilty plea, the court confirmed that Partey will remain on bail until his trial date.
His bail conditions allow him to continue playing professional football but require him to:
▪️Notify police of any international travel at least 24 hours in advance.
▪️Refrain from contacting the complainants.
The case will now proceed toward trial as scheduled.
His trial has been set for November 2, 2026, at the same venue.
