BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Lunzu seondary school in Blantyre has been closed on Tuesday morning due to fracas that led to torching of some of school’s property including multipurpose hall.
Disagreements between the form 2 and 4’s on campus as a result of bullying has been identified as the main cause of the fracas.
According to one student from the campus, the fracas turned sour on monday night which attracted law enforcers.
This led to some students running away from the campus due to teargas when the police intervened.
When asked to comment on the situation the deputy headmaster refused to comment anything on the matter.
The spokesperson for ministry of education, Lindiwe Chide who was out of reach for comment on the matter.
