Youth-Decide Campaign addressing the news conference in Lilongwe on Chakwera cabinet

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The country’s Youth-Decide Campaign on Friday, July 10 demanded reversal of Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera’s cabinet.

The grouping joins quarters of the society that described the Chakwera’s first full cabinet meant to appease family members, party loyalists and financiers.

Youth-Decide Campaign team leader Charles Kajoloweka told the news conference in the capital Lilongwe that Chakwera has violated youth agenda.

Kajoloweka hinted that youths have been excluded in the cabinet saying most ministers are above 35 years old.

He added that the cabinet violets youths’s economic, political and social participation.

Kajoloweka therefore demanded reversal of the cabinet to include youths as are many who voted Tonse Alliance into power.

President Chakwera is therefore expected to address the nation on the cabinet today.
