
LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-In its quest for business partnership enhancement, Airtel Money on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 donated MK2 million towards Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM) 2022 annual conference.
The conference is slated for November 10 to 13, 2022 at Nkopola lodge in the lakeshore district of Mangochi.
Speaking during the dummy cheque presentation, Airtel Money Head of Marketing Virginia Jere said the donation is part of business partnership engagement.
“Airtel money believes that people are the most valuable responsive asset in any organization, we can not engage a customer before engaging our employees.
“By investing in people, you build a higher-performing team and improve skill sets to provide quality products and services to your customers,” says Jere.
She adds, “This why Airtel money is sponsoring the Institute of people Management Malawi to stay ahead of the curve and provide the best for its employee.
“This conference is an opportunity for Airtel money to engage with others, share experiences and learn best ways of keeping our employees highly engaged”.
Receiving the funds, IPMM vice president Mary Mkali expressed gratitude for the donation saying will go a long way towards conference successes.
Mkali added that the donation has come at the right when the grouping needed financial support for the conference.
